வடிவுடையம்மன் 108 போற்றி - வடிவுடையம்மன் வள்ளலாருக்கு உணவு அளித்த நிகழ்ச்சி:வள்ளலார் ராமலிங்கரை உலகப் புகழ் பெறச் செய்தவள் வடிவுடையம்மன். ராமலிங்கர் தினமும் வடிவுடை அம்மன் கோயிலுக்குச் சென்று பல மணிநேரம் அன்னையை பார்த்துக் கொண்டே இருப்பார். அவருக்கு பக்தியில் இருந்த ஈடுபாடு படிப்பில் இல்லை.
அப்போது “ராமலிங்கம் எழுந்திரு, சாப்பிடலாம்” என்று அண்ணி தட்டி எழுப்பி வாழை இலையில் பதினாறு வகை உணவு பரிமாறினாள்.
சாப்பிட்ட பிறகு அந்த திண்ணையிலேயே மீண்டும் தூங்கிவிட்டார் ராமலிங்கம். சில மணிநேரம் கழித்து யாரோ ராமலிங்கத்தை தட்டி எழுப்ப, விழித்தார்.
அண்ணிதான் நின்றிருந்தாள். “ராமலிங்கம் வெறும் வயிற்றோடு தூங்காதே; வந்து சாப்பிடு.” என்றாள்.
“இப்போது தானே அண்ணி சாப்பாடு போட்டீர்கள். அதோ பாருங்கள் நான் சாப்பிட்ட இலை” என்றார்.
“இல்லை நான் சாப்பாடு போடவில்லை. ஆச்சரியமாக இருக்கிறதே. யார் உனக்கு உணவு தந்தது” என்றாள் அண்ணி.
அப்போது தான் அண்ணியாக வந்தது திருவொற்றியூர் வடிவுடையம்மன் என்பதை உணர்ந்தார் ராமலிங்கம்.
அன்னை தந்த உணவு அவருக்கு பெரும் ஞானத்தையும் தமிழ்ப் புலமையையும் தந்தது. ராமலிங்க வள்ளலார் எனும் புகழை தந்தது. ஞானசக்தியான வடிவுடையம்மனை வணங்கினால் ஞானம் பெறுவர் என்பது நிசர்சனமான உண்மை.
