ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை எனும் சொர்க்கம்:

ஒவ்வொரு மனிதனின் எதிர்பார்ப்பிலும் ஒரு ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை உண்டு.

மற்ற நாட்களில் உழைத்து களைத்த நாம், உற்சாகம் பெறும் நாள் இந்த ஞாயிறு.

இருபத்தைந்து வருடங்களுக்கு முந்தைய ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமைகள் தந்த
சந்தோசமும், உற்சாகமும் இன்று நினைத்தாலும் இனிக்கும்.

சனிக்கிழமை ராத்திரியே நாளை ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை என்ற சந்தோசம் நமக்குள் பரவும்.

என்றுமே தூக்கத்திலிருந்து விழிக்க தயங்கும் நாம், ஞாயிறுகளில் மட்டும் விடியற்காலையில் விழிப்போம். அந்த காலை எழுந்ததுமே நமக்குள் ஒரு பரபரப்பு வரும்.

காலையில இட்லியோ தோசையோ ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை மட்டும்தான் வீட்டுல சாப்பிட கிடைக்கும். மத்தநாள் எல்லாம் காலையில சோறுதான்.

ஞாயிறு விடியற்காலை நேரத்திலேயே கறிக்கடைகள் நிரம்பி வழியும்.

கறினாலே அப்பலாம் ஆட்டுக்கறி தான். இப்ப இருக்குற மாதிரி சிக்கன் வாங்குறவங்க அப்ப கம்மிதான்.

மதிய நேரத்தில் எல்லா வீட்டிலிருந்தும் கறிக்குழம்பு கொதிக்கும் மணம் வரும்.

நான் சின்ன பையனா இருந்தப்ப ஒரு கிலோ ஆட்டுக்கறி 90 ரூபாய்க்கு வாங்கியிருக்கேன்.

தெருக்களில் சிறுவர்கள். கில்லி, கோலி, பம்பரம், பாண்டி தாண்டுதல், என அந்தந்த காலத்தில் உள்ள சீசன் விளையாட்டுக்களை விளையாடுவர்.

தாத்தாக்களும் , பாட்டிகளும் வீட்டு திண்ணையில் அமர்ந்து ஊர்க்கதை பேசுவதை கேட்பதே தனி சுகம்.

கிழவிகள் வெற்றிலை உரலில் வெற்றிலை இடிக்கும் சத்தமே தனி இசை.

கொஞ்சம் வளர்ந்த சிறுவர்கள் தென்னை மட்டையில் செய்த கிரிக்கெட் பேட்டினை வைத்து மும்மூரமாய் கிரிக்கெட் விளையாடுவர்.

காலையில் டிவியில், பட்டிமன்றமும், அரட்டை அரங்கமும் அனல் பறக்கும்.

சினிமா டாப் டென் பார்த்து எந்த படம் எந்த இடத்தில் உள்ளதென்று விவாதம் கிளம்பும்.

மதிய நேர கறிச்சோறு தின்ற பின்னர் ஒரு சுகமான உறக்கம் அழையா விருந்தாளியாய் வந்து சேரும்.

சில நாள்களில் விளையாட்டு ஆர்வத்தில் மதிய சாப்பாடு சாப்பிட சாயங்காலம் ஆகிவிடும்.

சாயங்காலம் தியேட்டருக்கு சென்று புதுப்படம் பார்த்து, இடைவேளையில் தின்ற பண்டங்கள் கூட இன்னும் மறக்கவில்லை.

தியேட்டருக்கு செல்லாத நாட்களில், ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை மாலை நேர டிவி திரைப்படங்கள் நம்மை மகிழ்விக்கும்.

ஞாயிறு மாலை இருட்டியதும், மறுநாள் திங்கள்கிழமை என்ற சோர்வு நம்மை தொற்றிக் கொள்ளும்.

ஆனாலும் , திங்கள்கிழமை காலை முதல் நாட்களை எண்ணத் தொடங்குவோம், அடுத்த ஞாயிறு எப்போது வரும் என்று..!

Old age.... Let us save ...
